Run, Jump and Make Noise! But do not Sin...

This is what our last speaker advised us to do when things seems going wrong and trying to put us back in our same old negative situation. Well, I think it worked. When I feel mad, I just kind of letting it go by going away first till I calm down. I chose to go to the duck pond near our place and feel the beauty of the nature that God has offered to us. In that way I can feel closer to God and share to Him my pains. After that I feel relieved and realized things I should’ve better known. It’s like an outlet for me in letting go of the stress that I shouldn’t be carrying. A good outlet since it makes my relationship to God stronger. And in these days, it’s better to lift your problems to God rather than to other people as I believed that there are just two whom you can trust; God and Yourself. Other people might listen and show that they care but you will never know if what you shared will be kept confidential, they can tell your life to anybody intentionally or not, either for a good reason or bad. The point here is to divert your attention to something else rather than committing a sin. Don’t let the devil win you and control your actions. If you were to choose what would it be? Peace of mind or guilt, Happiness or loneliness, Love or hatred? Run somewhere else, Jump as high as you can and make noise till it overpowers the chance of committing a sin. This is just my two cents. ;>

More or less

Something "TRUE TO LIFE" to share with you this Holy Week. I got this from email and it did hit me straight to the heart. I had always complaints of what to cook or what to eat; sometimes I even not consume everything in my plate when I really don’t like it. I remember my family and friends used to tell me, “You’re lucky enough that you have something to eat, there are lots of people who are dying in hunger”. Whenever they say this, I’m giving them a silly response in saying, “Could you call all those hungry people and give this food that I can’t finish eating?” Oh, that changes when I saw this short film. It’s really true that I’m so blessed with things that sometimes I’m too blinded to appreciate. Why are there people who have more than enough and those that who have less? And you see those who need more are the ones who are closer to God.

The Fruits of Our Labor

The Fruits of Our Labor. Hard Work Never Tasted So Good. "Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not!" After a battle week of getting Clarence become used to his newly owned bedroom, we're now harvesting the fruits of it. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of her rest days, every night one or two movies are being peacefully watched by us. Clarence now sees the authorities in us and I'm so proud of him because he responsibly dealt with it really really good. We're all happy, less stress but more caress (If you know what I mean). My wife and I were able to talk as much as we wanted now that Clarence has his own room. There are still a lot of things to know more from each of us eventhough we've been together for almost 9 years (counting our gf-bf time). I love her so much and I wanted her to know that I appreciate all the things she's doing for our relationship. This song is dedicated to her.

think im in love again -

Here I go again, drifting on my own feet
Lately it seems I've been, being old foolish me
Mumble when I try to talk, stumble when I try to walk
Like I'm in a state of shock when I'm with you.

Here I go again, looking just like a clown
Everything I say is wrong whenever you're around
Somehow I got kind a shy and I can't look you in the eye
I come all apart inside when I'm with you.

Chorus:
Think I'm in love again, grinning that silly grin
Look what a fool I've been, think I'm in love again
Lately I lost my mind and I do it everytime
(Guess/Yes) I know all the signs of being in love.

I won't lie to you, I've been in love before
But I think that you're the one that I've been waiting for
Been around I'll admit, but this time all the pieces fit
Something tells me this is it, when I'm with you.

Lorie, if you happen to read this, i want you to know how much I treasure you in my life. You're one of the reasons I enjoy living my life. I love you so much. I know I will always fall for you. I'll make sure to be here beside you every step of the way.

Thank You, Daddy!

In everything I do, good or bad, I never thought someone would ever notice or appreciate it. Since each day passed, those busy days, doing the house chores become seemingly a routine work for me. My wife being so exhausted at her work, sometimes consumes most of her time sleeping. She’s working so hard to earn for our planned vacation in California. I believe she deserves a good treat whenever she’s having her rest day, that’s why I don’t like to oblige her in helping me around the house. Sometimes, you cannot avoid frustration at home, especially when you are so tired doing all the work. There I will find myself struggling with my son, pleading , negotiating and even punishing him for his ‘supposed to be’ child behavior. How can you keep your cool if everything you ask him to do, he opposes. My wife told me that it’s part of being a toddler, saying ‘No’ to him, is like triggering his curiosity and giving him opportunity to make him do it again and again. This provoked my undying theoretical thinking. So, instead of saying No, I tried ‘Yes”. I told my son, “Ok son, do it, come on, do it!” BUT it didn't do the trick. Silly me, I suppose reverse psychology is not yet applicable for him. The major of all the major jobs I do is taking care of my son. I actually know all the characters in Sesame Street, that means I cannot watch what I want if he’s awake. We also share computer, it’s like 90/10. I’m the 10. So you cannot blame me if sometimes I’m acting weird, I’m beginning to like being a kid again. I even asked my wife to buy RC as Clarence’ Christmas gift. My wife just said, “In your dreams!” c”,)

There’s one time, when I got so angry because my son messed up on his food, I gave him a time out. I felt some guilt for I know he didn’t mean to play with his food and he doesn’t deserve that time out. Later that night when I’m preparing him for bed and wiping his body with a warm towel, he then suddenly said to me, “Thank You, Daddy!” …… Whoa!!! That sweet, sweet little voice of him really struck me up. All my exhaustion for all the day’s work has been replaced with gladness. We taught him how to say thank you whenever he receives something. It’s like a required response, actually. But this is different, I don’t know how he knew that he should thank me for the good things I’m doing for him. “You’re welcome!” I responded “You will always be”. This time I know he means it. His innocence mind makes it real for me. That’s the best reward I received for being a parent. Appreciation from my 2 year old son.

Complaints or Appreciation

Are you the kind of person who always sees things in its worst form? Who are proud to tell to everyone how hard you’ve gone through just to get out in a situation? Some people complain about everything. Patterns like parent to child, employee to boss, student to instructor and vice versa are the common ones. They complain because there’s no contentment in their hearts. You can’t expect everything to happen in your own will and preference. This is why I hear many parents complain about how mischievous and terrible their children were. We cannot blame our children to be playful or naughty (at times) for it’s part of growing up. That’s what they supposed to behave. Instead of complaining, why don’t we be grateful that our kids are healthy that’s why they are lively and full of fun. If you are to choose, a sick child or a playful one? Why don’t you try to say “I’m so blessed for this stress because I know this is just a small cause of having a healthy kid”. And if someone asks you on how your day went, would you say that you had the worst boss and job in the whole world? Remember that there are people who are homeless, jobless, disabled and ill. Learn to be appreciative on what you have. Think of the good things behind every bad thing that happens in our lives. Life is beautiful if you'd only know how to look at it right.
